Attention: As of July 1, 2025, CA PNS will discontinue use of the Revvity Vanadis™ platform for cfDNA screening for non-NorCal Kaiser Permanente participants and will utilize another laboratory to complete the test. To ensure your cfDNA specimens are analyzed using Revvity's cfDNA testing methodology prior to the discontinuation, they must be received by Revvity no later than June 30, 2025. This applies to all orders submitted via the CalGenetic Portal or paper order form. Any specimen received on or after July 1, 2025, requesting the Revvity Vanadis™ platform will be shipped overnight to an alternative CA PNS cfDNA laboratory partner at GDSP's discretion. GDSP will email all providers who drafted or submitted electronic cfDNA orders for the Revvity Vanadis™ test to discuss reassignment to another CA PNS cfDNA laboratory partner.

CalGenetic Portal will be down for maintenance on 10/11/2025, 11/15/2025 and 01/10/2026.

Prenatal Screening orders that were originally ordered via paper will continue to be sent via mail. Prenatal Screening orders placed via this portal will be available for download as soon as they are ready but will not be mailed for the foreseeable future.

Starting March 29, 2025, all prenatal care providers will have access to the 'Account Admin' feature. Account Admins can manage delegates on behalf of provider, such as adding, editing, extending access, granting PNS Orders permission and deleting delegates.

Consent signature is required for all PNS cfDNA and MSAFP orders. Specimens received by GDSP laboratories without a consent signature will not be processed and will need to be redrawn.
